Faculty Practice Dashboards

Dashboard is a data-driven assessment of UCSF practice performance. The goal of the dashboard is to provide the means of understanding high-level performance relative to national benchmarks and peer practices. The data elements should help Health System and practice leaders highlight areas for further review in an effort to determine opportunities for performance improvement. 

Faculty Practice dashboards are intended to provide data driven insights that are easily accessible, help audience to track key metrics and determine opportunities for improvement.

Practice Metrics (PrM) dashboard is an operational dashboard that enables data-driven assessment of UCSF practice performance. The goal is to provide a means to understand high-level performance relative to national benchmarks and peer practices.

Provider Self Coding (PSC) dashboard enables clinical, practice-level, advanced practitioners (APP) and SOM leadership to track key operational and financial metrics pertaining to the transition from third party coding to self coding effort for clinical evaluation and management work and share pertinent feedback with their frontline MDs/APPs. The goal of PSC dashboard is to provide an easily accessible way to review different components of a provider’s self-coding clinical work including volume, productivity, coding levels, and other revenue cycle metrics associated with provider-related tasks.

Faculty Practice - Finance (FIN) dashboard provides operations and finance teams to review metrics related to gross charges, work RVUs, visits, payor mix and compare actuals to budget, along with trends.  It help users quickly identify risk areas, understand seasonality, growth projections and track towards budgeting goals.

Faculty Practice - Pharmacy (Phr) dashboard  provides finance and operations teams Clinic Pharmaceutical purchases, comparison to budget and the revenues generated from using these drugs.
